Spirits and Splatters – how it works:

While socializing with friends in your favourite hangout, our entertaining paint slingers will lead you in an inspiring fabulous 16″ x 20″ painting. In 2.5 hours you’ll create your own Picasso to take home, all while enjoying refreshing spirits and yummy munchies!

WE bring everything, even a smock to protect your clothes..although we use acrylic, washable paints eh.

YOU arrive ready to have a great time, painting, drinking and socializing.

Choose your location, check the Calendar and pick your favourite painting or venue, register and that’s it! You’ll get an email to confirm your painting party date.

 

Spirited events

Q. What is a Spirits and Splatters event like?
A. It’s a fun, creative, social painting experience in a local pub, bar or restaurant. In 2.5 hours you’ll be taught how to paint the featured painting while enjoying the delicious host menus.

These are Age of Majority events but please check our other Events for Youth and Families.

Q. What should I wear?
A.  We provide smocks, but suggest comfy clothes that you don’t mind getting splattered.

Q. What time should I arrive for an event?
A.  It’s best or arrive 30 minutes early to get your drinks and seats.

Q. Do I need to sign up in advance?
A.  Registration ahead is best due to limited seating at some venues, and most of our events sell out quickly.  You can register by Location and Event Calendar, or contact us.

Q. What does a Spirits and Splatter event cost?
A. Youth Events are $35/person and Spirited and Reserved Events are $45/person.

Q. What’s included in the price?
A. Creative fun, opportunities for making new friends, an excuse to get out of the house

We provide the talented Paint Slingers, paints, brushes, canvas, easels, and painting aprons. Refreshments and alcohol are not included.

While Spirits and Splatters encourages “drinking creatively”, we know that not everyone drinks alcoholic beverages, and we want to keep the pricing fair for all. That way, the price is a consistent $45, regardless of who drinks what…. Our host venues have a range of drink specials and fun menus to choose from, at awesome, wallet-friendly prices!

Q. Do I need to have a PayPal account to pay for my gift certificates?
A. No – Once you’re on the registration page, click “Buy Now”, look on the PayPal page, and enter your payment details, instead of logging in.

Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Spirits and Splatters needs 48 hours notice to cancel or re-schedule an event you’ve booked, like many other public entertainment events.
Contact us re: changes, as soon as you can, by email or phone 1-855-932-5569. This allows us a chance to fill the space, making any waiting people, happy! With 48 hours notice we will re-schedule you, or give you a full refund.

Please note: although rare, some of our events may be cancelled if they don’t reach a minimum of 10 attendees. In these cases, customers are notified as soon as possible via phone and/or email.

 

Refreshments

Q. Is there an age limit for Spirits and Splatters?
A.  Yes. Children are not permitted at Spirited Events – participants must be at least 19 years old to attend. We offer a variety of exciting Youth Events for the enjoyment of our younger fans! Refer to our event calendar pages for details re: location, etc., when registering.

Q. Are any events BYOB (bring your own bottle)?
A. No, and…. no. An exception would be Reserved Events offered at your home, or other locations where permitted. You’ll find, though, that most of our host venues offer amazing drink specials!

 

Youth events

Q. What are your Youth Events like?
A. Our Youth Events are for families and youth. Children must be over 8 years old. Although parents are encouraged to join their kids in the painting fun, they can also enjoy watching their kids create. Please note that no spirited beverages are served at Youth Events.

Q. Can I leave my child at a Youth Event?
A.  Well, yes and no….it depends on the Event and the maturity level.

Q. What are the Youth Event and Private Event requirements?
A.  We have a 10 child minimum charge. We can accommodate larger numbers of young participants, depending on the venue, etc. Contact us with your details, so we can make it happen!

 

Reserved events

Q. Would a Spirits and Splatters Private Event be suitable for a corporate gathering?
A.  Yes, indeed!  The creative, fun, encouraging environment is ideal for team-building and other corporate functions.

Q. How many people would I need for a Reserved Event?
A.  A 15 person minimum is required, and we can accommodate large numbers depending on the venue, etc. Contact us with your details – we’re happy to work with you to make it a success!

Q. How far will you travel for a Private Event?
A.  Spirits and Splatters is mobile and will travel, tell us your needs.

 

Future events

Q. When do your new schedules come out?
A.  Our Event Calendars are updated weekly.  We are continuously adding new events and dates.  Join our email list to get advanced notice and promotional discounts.

Q. Are paintings repeated on different days & venues (in case some can’t attend a specific date/location)?
A.  Yes!  Let us know the painting you prefer and ideal date/location and we’ll be happy to include it in an upcoming calendar.
